SHOCKING: Democratic Ethics Probe Says Palin Abused Her Power
-
The troopergate issue has ended in a Democratic-led ethics probe saying Palin was unethical in firing Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan.
But, they admitted that she did NOT fire Monegan for his refusal to dismiss Mike Wooten, a state tooper. Instead, they say she abused her power by refusing to stop her husband from using state resources to encourage the firing of Wooten.
If that’s not a thin enough case for you, then let me remind you that Mike Wooten, ex-husband of Palin’s sister, was accused of threatening the Governor as well as using a taser on a 10 year old.
Palin has demonstrated time after time in her short time as Governor that there was much to be cleaned up in Alaskan state politics. If there’s anything corrupt going on in the Troopergate situation, it’s that no investigation has been made on Trooper Wooten and Walter Monegan.

SHOCKING! Pro-Palin board tries to spin a BIPARTISAN probe with 10 REPUBLICANS and 4 Democrats as a left-wing partisan probe. Go figure.

Nice try at spin but for a ’slightly’ more cerebral look at TrooperGate see http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com

But if you take the time to read the report, you’ll notice that it says she violated state ethics law.
“Gov. Palin knowingly permitted a situation to continue where impermissible pressure was placed on several subordinates in order to advance a personal agenda,” the report concludes.
Doesn’t that scare anyone?

Ethics and Democrats actually rate a lot of laughs. Throw the Republicans in too for some more laughs.
Someone is always investigating someone else-that’s how they keep their jobs.
Get rid of them all and go Independent.

Is it “advancing a personal agenda” to help withdraw from society a loose state trooper, whose moral compass is clearly faulty?

Clarification - the report released Friday is from a private investigator, a Democrat named Stephen Branchflower. Much of the information he collected was left out of the report. And the report seems to conflict with emails released by the Palin administration.
Additionally, when Palin’s email was hacked recently, there was absolutely nothing scandalous found. So, keep that in mind.
Furthermore, the ethics committee in the Alaskan legislature has NOT voted on this report.
Again, this report is simply a compilation of a partisan hack who basically a partisan hack.
The fact that there are so many Republicans on the ethics committee proves nothing. Palin has pissed off many a Republican politician in Alaska, and I have no doubt they’re out to get her.
